1-Phenyl-4-methylpyrazole is a polysulfide with platelet-inhibitory properties. It prevents the binding of opsonized particles to phagocytic cells and inhibits phagocytic activity. 1-Phenyl-4-methylpyrazole has been shown to inhibit the pathogenesis of immune thrombocytopenia by inhibiting the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and reducing oxidative stress. This drug also has potential use as an adjuvant in the treatment of thrombocytopenia, which is due to its ability to inhibit ROS. 1-Phenyl-4-methylpyrazole has electrochemical properties that make it suitable for use as a drug delivery system, such as for insulin therapy or other peptides. The compound is also effective against cancer cells, which may be due to its ability to stabilize disulfide bonds in proteins.br>
