Descripción:2-Pyrrolidinone is a chemical substance that belongs to the group of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) potent inducers. It has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of the production of biochemicals such as amino acids and proteins. This compound is used for diagnostic purposes, such as the identification of chemical substances in biochemical tests. 2-Pyrrolidinone is also used for the determination of the particle size and distribution in material samples. 2-Pyrrolidinone has been shown to have a thermal expansion coefficient that is substantially lower than water vapor, methyl ethyl ketone, or occipital cortex. This property can be used to differentiate this chemical substance from other materials with similar thermal expansion coefficients.
