The enzyme inhibitors in potassium sodium aluminosilicate make it a good choice for the removal of proteins from water vapor and other substances present in the vapor. This material is insoluble, which means that it will not dissolve or react with other substances, making it useful as a fumigant or as an electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) electrode material.
