N-Phenyl-1-naphthylamine-8-sulfonic acid sodium salt is a synthetic chemical compound that has been used as a colorant and dye. It has been shown to bind to the apigenin binding site on the estrogen receptor, which is located in the cytoplasm. This interaction may contribute to its ability to stimulate DNA synthesis and growth in vitro.
