Descripción:
Pirmagrel is a mouse monoclonal antibody against the low-density lipoprotein receptor, which is located on the surface of glomerular cells in the kidney. It blocks the binding of LDL to this receptor and inhibits its internalization. In experimental models, pirmagrel has been shown to have inhibitory properties on collagen synthesis, as well as physiological effects such as reduction of glomerular filtration rate and thromboxane production. Pirmagrel also has bronchoconstrictor response and binds to a receptor.
