Información del producto
Palladium pivalate is an efficient and selective method for the synthesis of carboxylates. Palladium pivalate reacts with a number of amines to form a palladacycle, which then reacts with a chloride to form the desired carboxylate. The reaction system is composed of palladium pivalate, hydrochloric acid, and a suitable base such as sodium hydroxide or potassium carbonate. Palladium pivalate is insoluble in water, which means that it can be used in organic solvents such as dichloromethane or ethyl acetate. Hydrochloric acid is used to cleave the palladacycle from palladium pivalate, yielding the desired product. Palladium pivalate has been shown to react efficiently with amines containing one bidentate ligand such as N-methylmorpholine or triethylamine.
