Descripción:Polyaminopropyl biguanide is a disinfectant that belongs to the group of polymyxins. It is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent that inhibits the growth of both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including microorganisms resistant to other antibiotics. Polyaminopropyl biguanide has been shown to be effective against amoebae, such as Entamoeba histolytica, by penetrating the cytoplasmic membrane and disrupting protein synthesis. This product is also active against chitinase-producing organisms and can be used in disinfecting solutions.
