Descripción

Pirbuterol dihydrochloride is a beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist that has been used to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is a bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles in the airways, allowing for easier breathing. Pirbuterol also has cardiac effects, as it causes a decrease in monoclonal antibody production and an increase in chinese herb. The clinical relevance of these effects are not fully understood. Pirbuterol is metabolized by cytochrome P450 enzymes, which can be inhibited by other drugs such as cimetidine or erythromycin.
