Información del producto
- 10-Propargylphenothiazine10-(2-Propyn-1-yl)-10H-phenothiazine
N-Propargylphenothiazine is a synthetic antimicrobial agent that inhibits the growth of bacteria by binding to the target enzymes. The drug has been shown to be active against Staphylococcus aureus and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and it has been found to be effective in inhibiting the synthesis of DNA. N-Propargylphenothiazine binds to the enzyme topoisomerase II and prevents the replication of bacterial DNA. This action prevents cell division, leading to cell death. N-Propargylphenothiazine also inhibits chloride channels, which may account for its potent anti-inflammatory properties.
