Potassium 2-thiophenetrifluoroborate is a chiral, mesomorphic, and stable chemical compound that undergoes cross-coupling reactions. It can be used to form chiral molecules in the presence of a catalytic amount of palladium. It is also used as an intermediate in organic synthesis. Potassium 2-thiophenetrifluoroborate reacts with nucleophiles such as alcohols and amines to produce esters and amides, respectively.
