Descripción:Poly(hexamethylenebicyanoguanide-hexamethylenediamine) hydrochloride is a disinfectant that belongs to the group of biguanides. It is a high-resistance disinfectant with an antimicrobial efficacy against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, fungi, and mycobacteria. This compound has been shown to be effective in the treatment of infectious diseases caused by microbes such as Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Poly(hexamethylenebicyanoguanide-hexamethylenediamine) hydrochloride may also be used in analytical methods for determining the level of benzalkonium chloride in water or other substances.
