Z-Phe-Trp-OH is an organic acid that has a hydrophilic and acidic nature. It can be used as an eluent in liquid chromatography, which is a technique for separating chemical compounds by passing them through a column of solid material with different porosity. Z-Phe-Trp-OH may also be used as a buffer in analytical chemistry to maintain the pH of the solution at a constant level. In addition, it can be used as an ionic or nonionic surfactant.
