Descripción

(S)-5-(Pyrrolidin-2-yl)-1H-tetrazole is a versatile and efficient organocatalyst that can be used in a variety of organic reactions. In addition to being an excellent catalyst for the asymmetric synthesis of methyl ketones, it is also useful in copolymerization reactions with other monomers. It can be used at temperatures ranging from -78 ˚C to 100 ˚C, making it ideal for preparative work. (S)-5-(Pyrrolidin-2-yl)-1H-tetrazole can also be used as an organocatalyst in the synthesis of acrylamides, cyclic amides, and aziridines. This compound is reactive and can generate chlorides upon exposure to air or water.
