(1S,2R)-(+)-trans-2-Phenyl-1-cyclohexanol is a natural product with anti-inflammatory properties. The molecule has been shown to activate macrophages in vitro and in vivo. It also induces the production of isoserine, which is a mediator of inflammation that is involved in the activation of macrophages. This compound has been tested on murine macrophage cells and found to have high yields and diastereoselectivities.
