It has a high reactivity and optimal reaction temperature, as well as being compatible with hydrochloric acid, sodium carbonate, and metal surface. Propyl Acetoacetate is also excellent for activating methylene groups on the surface of metals. Sodium salts and calcium carbonate are two common examples of this type of coating.
