Descripción

[6,6]-Phenyl-C61-butyric Acid n-Octyl Ester is a light-emitting polymer with high fluorescence quantum yield. It can be used to fabricate fluorescent sensors for environmental pollutants and biological markers. [6,6]-Phenyl-C61-butyric Acid n-Octyl Ester is composed of a phenyl group and a butyric acid molecule. The phenyl group has an electron donating effect on the butyric acid molecule, which results in the formation of a conjugated system that emits light when excited by an external energy source such as visible light or ultraviolet radiation.
