Descripción:
Protostemonine is a compound found in the root of the plant, Cimicifuga foetida. It has been shown to have inhibitory properties against TNF-α, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the transcription of inflammatory cytokines. Protostemonine also has anti-inflammatory effects on chronic coughs and can be used as a matrix effect for fatty acid metabolism. The analytical chemistry of protostemonine has been studied and it has been shown that it is an active component with potent biological activities.
