Descripción:1,1,1,3,3-Pentachloro-2,2-difluoropropane (PDFP) is an organofluorine compound that has been used as an anti-infective agent. It has a low molecular weight and high volatility, which allows for easy transport of the agent to the site of infection. PDFP also exhibits stability against oxidation and hydrolysis reactions. PDFP is most effective against amines and dichloroethylene. It can be used in conjunction with other antiviral agents to enhance their effects. PDFP is not flammable and does not degrade in sunlight.
