Descripción:Perfluoro(2-Oxo-3,6-Dimethyl-1,4-Dioxane) is a fluorinated compound that belongs to the class of dioxolanes. It is used for the production of perfluorinated compounds and as a catalyst in the transformation of other organic compounds. Perfluoro(2-Oxo-3,6-Dimethyl-1,4-Dioxane) has also been shown to exhibit catalytic properties with trifluoroacetyl groups. The mechanism of this transformation process is not yet fully understood but it is believed that it may involve the addition or removal of hydrogen atoms from carbon monoxide or fluorine atoms from an ionic intermediate. Perfluoro(2-Oxo-3,6-Dimethyl-1,4-Dioxane) undergoes a number of transformations when heated at high temperature. These transformations are equilibrium reactions with different rate constants depending on the reaction conditions and products formed.
