Descripción:FT113 is a modification of the amino acid phenylalanine. FT113 is proposed to be involved in the etiology of heart disease. The FT-IR spectroscopy has been used for the diagnosis and detection of syncopal episodes. FT113 has been shown to activate anthranilate, an intermediate in the synthesis of heme, which may lead to an interaction with fatty acids and other biochemical substances that are involved in cellular physiology. This modification is also thought to have a structural role in heart disease.
