Descripción:Reactive Blue 21 is a kinetic, high-salt and reactive dye that is used as an analytical indicator. It has been shown to be useful in wastewater treatment, where it has been used to measure the adsorption of cationic surfactants on activated sludge. Reactive Blue 21 is also used as a feedstock for the production of polyclonal antibodies. The FTIR spectrum of this dye shows that it contains a pyrazole ring with an absorption band at 2,600 cm-1.
