Descripción:RhMannioside D is a mannoside that has been shown to inhibit protein synthesis in cells. It can be used as a treatment for patients with metabolic disorders or autoimmune diseases. RhMannioside D has been shown to inhibit the production of ATP, which is essential for cell function. RhMannioside D binds to the surface of mitochondria and inhibits the respiratory chain complex 1 (NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase), which prevents the transfer of electrons from NADH to coenzyme Q10 and leads to mitochondrial membrane potential disruption. This mannoside also inhibits glutinosa, an enzyme that breaks down glycogen into glucose, which may lead to hypoglycemia. RhMannioside D blocks protein synthesis by binding to the ribosomal subunit, preventing the formation of an RNA-protein complex that is required for translation.
