Rhodamine 6G Tetrafluoroborate is a fluorescent dye that is used in biochemical, enzymatic reactions and polymerization initiators. This agent has been shown to be useful in the diagnosis of various diseases, such as osteomyelitis. Rhodamine 6G Tetrafluoroborate is also used for radiation therapy, where it emits light after absorbing radiation energy. The average particle diameter of this agent is approximately 2 micrometers.
