Descripción:Scyliorhinin I H-Ala-Lys-Phe-Asp-Lys-Phe-Tyr-Gly-Leu-Met-NH2 is a peptide that has been conjugated to an aminopropyl linker. It has shown cardioprotective effects in vitro, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the activity of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE). Scyliorhinin I H-Ala-Lys-Phe-Asp-Lys-Phe-Tyr-Gly-Leu-Met NH2 also inhibits the production of ACTH and corticosterone in the dogfish. This peptide is not highly potent, but it does have a biphasic response in submandibular gland cells.
