Descripción

Stachydrine hydrochloride is a herb used in Chinese medicine preparations to treat blood deficiency, which is due to the lack of red blood cells. The extract of this herb contains stachydrine and protocatechuic acid. Stachydrine hydrochloride is an active ingredient derived from this herb that has been shown to be effective against cancer and heart disease. This compound has been shown to have dose-dependent effects on tumor growth, with low doses inhibiting tumor growth and high doses activating tumor growth. Stachydrine hydrochloride also increases the sensitivity of T47D cells to cisplatin-induced apoptosis by increasing phosphatidylserine exposure on the cell surface.
