• Descripción: Sodium tetraphenylborate is a chemical compound that is a salt of tetraphenylborate. It is used in the laboratory for the preparation of stable complexes with nitrogen atoms, including reaction solutions and light exposure. Sodium tetraphenylborate has been shown to be an effective catalyst for the Suzuki coupling reaction. The intracellular calcium concentration increases as a result of this reaction and this increase can be measured using titration calorimetry. This reaction also produces ester linkages in addition to hydroxyl groups, which are present due to the presence of a carboxylic acid group on one or more of the reactants.
