Descripción:SR9009 is a synthetic, nonsteroidal compound that is a modulator of Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling pathways. The TLR pathway is involved in the recognition of microbial pathogens and initiates an inflammatory response to these infections. SR9009 inhibits the LPS-induced inflammatory response by suppressing TLR signaling. This drug also has activity against metabolic disorders such as atherosclerosis and liver steatosis, as well as infectious diseases such as HIV and influenza virus. SR9009 may also be useful for treating viral life cycle and autophagy.
