• Descripción: SC-57461A is a novel compound that is selective for the toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4). It has been shown to have pro-inflammatory effects and to induce the production of inflammatory factors, such as tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) and interleukin 1 beta (IL-1β), in vitro. SC-57461A has also been found to inhibit neuronal death in animal models of brain injury. The polymorphism of TLR4 may be related to the susceptibility of patients with inflammatory bowel disease or other inflammatory diseases.
