• Descripción: N-Succinyl-L-alanyl-L-alanyl-L-alanine 4 nitroanilide is a synthetic substrate that has been shown to have proteolytic activity against dextran sulfate, collagen, and sephadex g-100. It also has insecticidal activity in that it inhibits the development of larvae of the insect Drosophila melanogaster. NSLAAALAALAAN can be used as a chemotactic agent for tissue culture cells. This synthetic substrate was also found to have antiinflammatory properties and may be useful in treating chronic bronchitis or other metabolic disorders.
