Sar-sar-OH is a molecule that has an uptake of 0.904, with a magnetic resonance spectrum that shows proton resonances at 1.8 ppm and 3.2 ppm. The chemical ionization constant for Sar-sar-OH is 9.33x10e-6 M/mole, which corresponds to a molecular weight of 136 g/mol. Sar-sar-OH is an analogue of hyaluronic acid and can be used in the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis, as it has been found to bind to the primary amines on mast cells and therefore inhibit their release of histamine. Sar-sar-OH also has antiallergic properties by inhibiting the synthesis of tripeptides in the body.
