- Tetrasodium Tetrathiacalix[4]arenetetrasulfonateThiacalix[4]arenetetrasulfonic Acid Tetrasodium Salt
4-Sulfothiacalix[4]arene Sodium Salt is a chemical compound with formula Na2S4A. It is a hyperpolarized probe that can be used to study various biological and chemical processes. The 4-sulfothiacalix[4]arene sodium salt has been shown to have a shift of -110 ppm and the experiment was performed at room temperature in DMSO-d6 solution. When it is complexed with sodium, the shift changes to -120 ppm. The cavity of the molecule, which is composed of four rings, is responsible for this shift.
