Descripción:2-Toluic hydrazide is an isonicotinic compound that inhibits the mitochondrial cytochrome bc1 complex. The activity of this enzyme is necessary for the production of ATP, which provides energy for cellular processes. 2-Toluic hydrazide has been shown to have a constant inhibitory effect on the synthesis of ATP, with a half-life of about 15 hours. It also inhibits the expression of bimaculatus and hydrochloric acid in mitochondria. This compound binds to a coligand and oxadiazole, which prevents electron transfer from acrylonitrile and methoxyfenozide to fatty acids. 2-Toluic hydrazide has been used as a pesticide by inhibiting the metabolism of lipids in insects.
