Descripción:
Triacetylmethane is a mesomeric acid that has been shown to have frequency-shift and acidic properties. Triacetylmethane is an analytical reagent that is used in the determination of fatty acids and metal hydroxides in human serum. It also has been used as a cancer drug. The structure of triacetylmethane can be determined by the use of nmr spectroscopic data, which reveals its carbonyl group and hydroxyl group.
