Descripción:Tritosulfuron is a herbicide that inhibits the biosynthesis of fatty acids and is used in weed control. It reacts with the electron-deficient double bonds of unsaturated fatty acids, forming a reactive intermediate that reacts with the active site of acyl-CoA synthase, an enzyme involved in lipid biosynthesis. Tritosulfuron also inhibits ammonium nitrate uptake by disrupting membrane integrity.
