Poly(tetrafluoroethylene) is a polymer with the chemical formula of (CF2)n-1C2F4. It is a glycol ether that has water vapor as its reaction solution and pathogenic mechanism. Poly(tetrafluoroethylene) is a polymer that can be synthesized by the process of zirconium oxide-catalyzed coupling. Copolymers of poly(tetrafluoroethylene) can also be synthesized by the process of cycloaddition process, which uses ester linkages to form bonds between monomers. Poly(tetrafluoroethylene) has been shown to have conformational properties that are dependent on the temperature and particle size.
