Descripción:
3-(Trifluoromethyl)-1,2-oxazol-5-amine is an aminopyridine heterocycle with a decarboxylated scheme that is synthesized from the reaction of chlorides and cyanoacetic acid. The compound has been shown to have antiinflammatory properties in mice. 3-(Trifluoromethyl)-1,2-oxazol-5-amine also inhibits inflammation by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins and leukotrienes by inhibition of cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase pathways. It also suppresses inflammatory cell responses by inhibiting the synthesis of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-6, TNFα, IL-1β, and IL-12.
