Información del producto
4-(2H-Tetrazol-5-yl)benzaldehyde is a chalcone that reacts with tetrazole to form a radical intermediate. This radical intermediate undergoes a 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction with an electron donor such as hydrogen or water. The addition of the electron donor to the radical intermediate leads to the formation of a five-membered heterocycle. The algar-flynn-oyamada reaction is used to identify chalcones and other aromatic compounds that contain nitrogen and are susceptible to this type of reaction. 4-(2H-Tetrazol-5-yl)benzaldehyde reacts with hydrogen gas in the presence of light, producing a molecule containing cyanide.
