2-[3-[N-(4-tert-Butylbenzyl)-N-(pyridin-3-ylsulfonyl)aminomethyl]phenoxy]acetic acid (BTS 498) is a drug candidate that was designed to treat inflammation and other inflammatory diseases, cancer, and eye disorders. It is an inhibitor of the enzyme camp levels, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins. BTS 498 has shown to inhibit the growth of human liver cells in vitro and has been shown to be safe for use in vivo. This drug also interacts with many other drugs and pharmacological agents, so it should be avoided if you are taking any medications.
