Tinnevellin glucoside is a water-soluble extract of the leaves of the plant Senna tinctoria. The leaves are collected and dried and then ground to a powder. Tinnevellin glucoside has been shown to have antioxidant effects and inhibitory effects on damaged cells. It also has anti-aging properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit reactive oxygen species (ROS) such as hydrogen peroxide and hydroxyl radicals. Tinnevellin glucoside can be used in food products as an antioxidant or to prevent lipid oxidation, or it can be used in functional foods or nutraceuticals for its antioxidant properties.
