Descripción:3,3'4,4'-Tetrabromobiphenyl is a congener of biphenyl that is found in the environment. It has been shown to have dietary and serum enzyme-inducing properties. 3,3'4,4'-Tetrabromobiphenyl also has an operational effect on animals and increases the activity of cytochromes. This chemical also sensitizes animals to other chemicals and can be used to induce necrosis in animal tissues. The effects of 3,3'4,4'-tetrabromobiphenyl are dose-dependent and it can cause inflammation at high doses.
