Descripción:Tylosin phosphate is a macrolide antibiotic that has significant interactions with other drugs, such as erythromycin and estradiol benzoate. It is also an antimicrobial agent that can be used against human pathogens, such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Tylosin phosphate has been shown to have toxicological studies in animals and humans, which have shown it to be chemically stable. This drug binds to fatty acids in the bacterial cell membrane, inhibiting the production of fatty acid synthase, leading to death by starvation. Tylosin phosphate may also interfere with the synthesis of phospholipids in the bacterial cell membrane and inhibit protein synthesis by binding to ribosomes.
