Descripción:Tolylene diisocyanate is a model system for the study of high resistance. It is an organic compound that is used as a substrate film for the polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The reaction solution contains toluene and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) is used to measure the current in order to determine the rate of reaction. Tolylene diisocyanate has been shown to be carcinogenic in laboratory animals, though it has not been found to cause cancer in humans. This chemical can be detected in human serum by solid phase microextraction (SPME) and analytical methods such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.
