Descripción:Thallium(I) ethoxide is a chiral compound with a hydroxy group, carbonyl group, and an aromatic hydrocarbon. It can form ether linkages with alkyl groups or thioether linkages with thiols. Thallium(I) ethoxide is used in the synthesis of organic compounds and has been shown to be able to catalyze metathesis reactions. This compound can also be used as a catalyst for the formation of sodium salts from phosphites or from chalcogenides.
