Descripción:4-Toluensulfonyl fluoride is a cell lysis agent that disrupts the disulfide bonds in proteins by reacting with them. It can be used in vitro to study mechanisms of protein synthesis and has been shown to have inhibitory properties towards polymerase chain reactions. 4-Toluensulfonyl fluoride has also been shown to have antimicrobial effects against bacteria in vivo, which may be due to its ability to bind to the polymerase chain reaction enzyme and inhibit its activity. 4-Toluensulfonyl fluoride has been found to have proteolytic, enzyme-inhibiting, and transcriptional regulatory properties.
