Descripción:
Tris(trimethylsilyl) borate is an electrolyte that is used as a viscosity control agent, additive stabilizer, and corrosion inhibitor in organic solvents. It also has been shown to be effective as a photoelectron spectroscopy additive to increase the sensitivity of the technique. Tris(trimethylsilyl) borate can be used for the synthesis of organic compounds and oxidation products. Tris(trimethylsilyl) borate has been shown to have low energy reactivity with silicon surfaces, which may be due to its ability to form a stable surface oxide layer.
