2,2',7,7'-Tetrakis-(N,N-di-4-methoxyphenylamino)-9,9'-spirobifluorene is a model system that can be used to study the phase transition of water vapor. It has been shown that the transition temperature of water vapor is dependent on the concentration and type of solute. This chemical shows high efficiency in solar cells and has a low cost. 2,2',7,7'-Tetrakis-(N,N-di-4-methoxyphenylamino)-9,9'-spirobifluorene is stable in air and water but not in strong acids or bases. The chemical also emits light when exposed to sunlight and has been shown to have an enhanced photocurrent in perovskite solar cells.
