Descripción:This compound is a fluorescent probe that has been used to determine the pH of aqueous solutions. The reaction system is composed of 4-(1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)benzenamine and an anion which varies depending on the pH of the solution. This probe's luminescent properties have been shown in pharmaceutical formulations and human urine samples. These probes are not affected by light, so they can be used to detect low levels of fluorescence that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
