Descripción:
3-(Trifluoromethyl)-2-picolinic acid is an anilide compound that is used as a fungicide. It has been shown to be effective against various fungal species, and has been used in agricultural settings as a fungicide. 3-(Trifluoromethyl)-2-picolinic acid is synthesized by the reaction of sulfur with 2-picoline. This chemical has substituents on the 3 and 4 positions of the benzene ring, which are trifluoromethyl (CF3) and methyl (CH3), respectively.
