• Descripción: Tris(p-nitrophenyl)amine is a heterogeneous reagent that is insoluble in water. It has a variety of operational uses, including as a catalyst for the reduction of nitro groups to amines, and as an indicator for the determination of ammonium ions. Tris(p-nitrophenyl)amine can also be used to reduce nitrobenzene to phenol with the use of catalytic reduction.
