Toldimphos sodium is a chemical that inhibits the enzyme creatine kinase, which is involved in the conversion of creatine to creatinine. It also blocks the production of progesterone and testosterone by blocking the conversion of cholesterol to pregnenolone. Toldimphos sodium has been shown to be effective in reducing plasma glucose levels in animals and humans. The detection time for Toldimphos sodium is about 10 minutes, and it can be detected for up to 24 hours after administration. Toldimphos sodium may be used to treat sinusitis, rhinosinusitis, or parturient women with elevated levels of progesterone or testosterone.
